Annually in March and November

Tour of Historically Black Colleges and Universities 

The Foundation understands the nurturing role of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).  
In partnership with the Prince George’s County Alumnae Chapter (PGCAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.,
the Foundation supports a week-long tour of HBCUs for high school students in grades 10, 11, and 12 in
November, and a one day tour for middle school students in March.


                    Fashion Show/Luncheon Scholarship Benefit

This long-standing scholarship benefit is held annually in March.  It  supports students who are college-bound
high school graduates and college-enrolled in both two and four-year colleges, as well as those who are interested
in vocational/technical advancement. 




Mobile Library in Papua New Guinea

The Foundation is working internationally with the PGCAC to develop and support a mobile library in Papua New Guinea, supplementing the efforts of the Honorable Ambassador Teddy Taylor and Mrs. Antoinette Corbin-Taylor,
a member of PGCAC.



  Biennially in May


The Foundation co-sponsors the biennial Jabberwock cotillion with PGCAC.  This effort occurs in May and
represents competitive pageantry scholarship fundraising and community-outreach efforts.  Preteen and
teen-aged girls focus center on positive image building, cultural enrichment and academic excellence.


Annually in December

Moonlight & Mistletoe - Signature Holiday Fundraiser

The Foundation sponsors an annual holiday fundraiser in December. This benefit occurs on the first Saturday in December.  Dressed in their holiday finery, guests enjoy a scrumptious meal, and endless dancing!
